Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges: Importance of Women in STEM

November 30th, 2023 from 15:00 - 16:00 (CEST) via Zoom

When we think of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), we often conjure images of innovation, discovery, and progress. Yet, there's an underlying issue that has persisted for far too long - the underrepresentation of women in STEM. To tackle this persistent challenge and explore its many dimensions, we invite you to join us in a thought-provoking master class with Dr. Janki Dodiya, Professor of Augmented/Virtual Reality and Human-Computer Interaction at the International University of Applied Sciences. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from, and connect and interact with her around issues of women’s underrepresentation in STEM fields, and explore ways to remove barriers young women encounter as they embark on STEM education and careers.

The class is offered by the International University of Applied Sciences within the framework of the Global Learning House mission.
